Ms. Faria of the Law And Mediation Offices of Maureen A. Faria, graduated magna cum laude from Golden Gate University, San Francisco, California, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Administration of Justice.

She returned to school thereafter receiving a Juris Doctorate from Empire College School of Law, Santa Rosa, California.

1990: United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of California.

2020: United States Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of California

Area of Practice:

A bankruptcy, family law and divorce attorney in Santa Rosa, CA (Sonoma County) and Rocklin, CA (Placer County) for over 30 years, Ms. Faria has represented thousands of clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area (Sonoma, Marin, Napa, Solono, Mendocino, Lake, Contra Costa, Alameda, and Santa Clara counties). She recently opened the Law And Mediation Offices of Maureen A. Faria in Rocklin, CA. Currently, she focuses on Family Law and Bankruptcy matters in this office, which of course includes Divorce, Mediation, and Chapter 7 Bankruptcy filings. She continues to maintain a limited Family Law practice in the greater Northern California counties as ‘Legal Eagles’.


Involved with a number of community groups, her professional associations include the State Bar of California, and the Sonoma County and Placer County Bar Associations.

In addition to giving free seminars in the fields of Family Law and Bankruptcy, Ms. Faria has served as a panelist for the Sonoma County Superior Court to assist litigants to resolve their cases prior to trial: Settlement Conference Calendar; Case Resolution Conference Calendar; Fee Arbitration Program; and Civil Discovery Dispute Program.
